The Massage Therapists
Consistently providing exceptional massages requires a cast of extraordinary professionals. To find the more than 35 massage therapists who work at the Center today, we personally screened and experienced massages from more then 2,400 different practitioners from around the world.

QUALIFICATION

Because so many therapists of such high caliber already work at the Center, the qualification process for new therapists is the most stringent in the industry.

Candidates start by submitting their resumes and a select group is invited to attend an introductory orientation.

Candidates who make the initial cut at the orientation are chosen for personal interviews.  Therapists who are still with us after the interview sessions are invited to an audition where they have the chance to show their work in a 60 minute session.

For those of you thinking that it must be a pretty good job to be the auditioner, keep in mind that his job is to go through a lot of bad massages so clients who visit the Center never have to.

After going through all of the audition sessions we compare notes and review subjective ranking scores to determine which, if any, of the candidate therapists are at a level comparable to the group already at the Center.

We would rather have empty spots on the roster of therapists than fill up rooms with therapists who aren't qualified, so only the top 10% from each candidate class typically make it- sometimes fewer or even none.

Once a therapist makes it through the introduction, the interview and the audition there are still two more steps.

First, the therapist goes through a complete working orientation to acclimate them to the Center and it's day to day operations.  Finally, they perform a "dry run" massage on one of our senior therapists as a final check to make sure they are ready to practice on actual clients.
